The newly elected executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Asutifi North Constituency of the Ahafo Region have begun a house-to-house reconciliation exercise aimed at uniting party members following the recent constituency elections.

Speaking in an interview with Agyapa News, the Constituency Chairman-elect, Hon. Amidu Yakubu Halid, said the leadership has met with constituency executives, the Council of Elders, candidates who lost the election, suspended members, and others who still feel hurt after the elections.

According to him, the reconciliation meetings are intended to restore peace, rebuild trust, and strengthen unity within the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.

He expressed confidence that the exercise has already begun restoring love, togetherness, and harmony among party members.

The 2nd Vice Chairman elect, Hon. Hussein Aremeyao, also stressed the need for unity, stating that internal division contributed to the party's loss of the parliamentary seat.

He appealed to all party members to identify anyone who is still hurt or aggrieved and encourage them to engage with the leadership so that their concerns can be addressed in the interest of party unity and victory in the 2028 general elections.
